Over fifteen years ago, Lazerware Inc. was founded. The company has undergone many changes and expansions, but the only thing that will never change is the dedication to giving our customers the very best products and services. Today, most of our new customers come from client referrals which means we must be doing something right. |

Brian Ward Founder, President, Chairman of the Board, and Majority Stockholder What I've learned in business: "When Lazerware was a young company, I put the customer first because I was the one providing service to them. As we increased our employment and was able to draw such talented people, my focus changed to our associates, or as I refer to them "Lazerware Family member". If I am able to create an environment that is fun, learning, and rewarding for our associates, they'll put the customer first." In 1985, Brian moved to St. Louis from Iowa at the age of 19 after graduating with an Associate's Degree in Computer Maintenance.
He founded Lazerware, Inc in 1990 with two partners. Lazerware didn't start out as a computer service company but rather a
company pursuing inventions which led to building automated machinery for Sheltered Workshops.
Within the first few years, it was evident Lazerware's primary invention was not going produce a sustainable income.
Brian chose to steer the company into Computer Sales and Service. For several years, he created Personal Computers in
the basement of his home and repaired impact printers. In December 1996 Lazerware moved to a 5000 sq. ft. Mixed use
building in South St. Louis City with two part time employees. |
